LONG STAY - SHORT STAY - RESPITE CARE
CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION
The acceptance of a resident into the home involves a special relationship of care. You are assured we will do our utmost to nurse and care for you /your loved one in all circumstances.
However, to do so we have to maintain an extensive establishment at a substantial financial cost and therefore we need to define the relationship in business terms. Listed below are our basic conditions of admission for our mutual benefit: A letter from your GP, Hospital Consultant, Social Worker or Liaison Officer must accompany the person on admission. All medicines should be handed in to the nurse in charge in order that the nurse is aware of the medication as prescribed and taken. The nurse in charge will dispense the medication.
However, the resident can be responsible for taking their own medications if they feel competent to do so. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
Alcohol is not supplied. Permission must be obtained from the Matron. |
